Printing on labels

Performance. Technology. Safety.

The new PTS is the sixth generation of Print & Apply systems developed by EIDOS. It was born to meet the growing demands for flexibility, reliability and speed in label printing and application in modern production environments.

Derived from the winning concepts of TTO (Thermal Transfer Over-printer) technology for flexible packaging, but completely rethought for Print & Apply, PTS combines ergonomics, modularity and high performance in a single compact and intelligent machine.

More than a machine: it is a platform designed for the future.

SOLUTIONS

Pallet

Pallets are automatically labelled at the end of the production chain by applying a large label on one or more sides. The pallet can be either stationary or moving a slow speed.

The following can be labelled:

– an label on the side of the pallet
– two labels on the front and on the side
– three labels on the front, side and back
– labels on strapping wound about pallet

Boxes

Boxes and bundles are labelled automatically during production or packaging on medium or high-speed conveyor lines. The application includes the use of medium-size labels on one side of the moving box.

The following can be labelled:
– the front of moving bundles
– the side or top of moving boxes
– the front or rear of moving bundles
– the front and side of moving boxes
– the side or top of standing boxes
– a long label on the corner of stationary boxes

Objects

The automatic labelling of industrial objects and products is performed in stationary conditions to guarantee application pressure and accuracy. Plastic labels and thermal transfer ribbons resistant to exterior elements can also be used to ensure durability and strength.

The following can be labelled:
– on the front face of stationary objects
– on the 90° face of the stationary object
– on the bulging surface of a stationary object
– inside a tube
– on a label wound about a moving bottle
